Standard Field Data Sheets

Information we record for each individual we capture includes:

• Date, time and location of sampling session
• Time of capture for each animal
• Species
• Gender
• Total length (TL) or Disc width (DW)
• Clasper length (CL) for males
• Identification tag number

Materials needed for collection of data :

• Measuring tape
• Tagging gun and tags
• Data sheets
• Writing tools
