Sampling Protocol

• Sampling takes place on pre-determined days that evenly represent each of our four tide classes.
• Water depth is recorded throughout each sample.
• Temperature is recorded at the beginning and end of each sample.
• Gill-net set time remains constant ( unless the animal's safety is at risk ).
• Identification tags are administered in order to avoid error in capture data and to establish the minimum population size for this study.
